Lesson Information

My experience as a performer has greatly informed my teaching style and philosophy. I believe in giving singers the tools they need to succeed in the real world. Fostering independence and individuality is always on my agenda, along with encouraging singers to find their own unique voice, style and stage personality.

A well rounded musical education is important! I take into account the singer’s goals and aspirations as well as their strengths and weaknesses when planning a course of study and suggested repertoire. I like to encourage my students try various musical styles and to study ear-training and other musicianship skills.

Lessons are available online via Zoom and also in person at the studios of Siciliano Music in Downingtown, PA.  Please contact me for current hours and availability, celestesiciliano@yahoo.com.

For Private lessons I generally recommend having 1-2 lessons per week (for example: 1-60 minute lesson or 2-30 minute lessons per week) It depends on your personal goals and performing/auditioning preparation needs.

Please contact me for current lesson fees. Fees are due before or at the lesson and can be paid by check, cash, Paypal, Venmo or Cash app. I offer a 10% discount for students paying for 4 lessons in advance and a 15% discount for students paying for 8 lessons in advance.

I do have a 24 hour cancellation policy but if you call and are sick or have an emergency, I will be happy to schedule a makeup lesson. It is very important that you do not come in sick! The studio takes every precaution when it comes to safety. We wipe down all surfaces and pianos with disinfectant and schedule breaks between students.

In lessons we will work on solid vocal technique though warm-ups and exercises, proper breathing, body alignment, diction and vowel formation for the various styles and languages of singing. Our goal is to free the singing instrument, which ultimately gives you the control you’re looking for!

Other topics covered include performance anxiety (stage fright), audition etiquette (how to make a great impression) and building a good song repertoire and resume. Songs will be selected based on the needs and interests of the student.

Wondering what to bring to your lesson? I suggest students bring a notebook, pencil, folder for music, bottled water and a device to record yourself on.
